tasteHQ's original grammar classifications, commentary, taxonomy mappings and visual fingerprints are available under CC BY 4.0, subject to the exclusions in the data licence. The software is licensed separately under MIT.
Third-party material
Names, trade marks, logos, typefaces, websites and source material belong to their respective owners. A reference identifies the subject of independent design analysis. It does not state or imply affiliation, sponsorship, approval or an official brand standard.
Media publication rule
File presence is not treated as permission. Public screenshots, video excerpts or favicons require an entry in the auditable media-rights manifest recording the basis, permitted formats, attribution, source, verification date and evidence reference.
Where a short excerpt is used for genuine criticism or review, it must be limited to what the commentary needs, acknowledged clearly and linked to its source. Rights-cleared submissions may be displayed within the permission granted. Full customer review captures remain private.
Rights-holder requests
If you own material referenced by tasteHQ, you may request removal, correction or attribution changes through w230.net. Include the relevant URL, identify the material and explain your relationship to the rights holder. Disputed public media will be unpublished while the request is assessed.
Brand-submitted profiles
A future profile-claim process will require verification of control over the organisation or domain. Submitted media must include permission to host and display it. Approval of media rights does not make tasteHQ's independent evaluation an official endorsement.
